Our leader here at OC Lifesmiles Progressive Dentistry, Dr. John Cross, recently graduated from the dental implant program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry! We’re so proud of his achievement and his dedication to providing the best care to our patients. While many other dentists opt for a dental implant weekend course, Dr. Cross enrolled in this intense post-graduate program to learn the skills necessary to not only provide restorations for dental implants, but also to place the dental implants himself. This can make the dental implant process much more convenient for patients, making it possible to perform the entire treatment here at our practice without the need to refer out to another office.
Dr. Cross’ 300 hours of continuing education included webinars, tests, and hands-on dental implant procedures. He also received in-depth training from the Director of Prosthodontics, the Director of Implant Dentistry, and multiple guest lecturers. After successfully completing the year-long course, Dr. Cross passed the Fellow Membership Examination by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
